Humans can live about 21 days without food. So why are we so famished and out of control after about 8 hours without eating? Here are some possible things you can do after fasting for 8 hours that will definitely kill your hunger.
- Give a speech
- Get a root canal
- Bungee jumping
- Get on a scary roller coaster ride
- High wire acts without safety nets like the Wallendas.
- Belly laugh
- Hit your finger with a hammer
- Winning the super lottery
I am pretty sure all of the above would squelch your hunger for at least a little while. Hunger stops when you are in pain, experiencing fear, laughing hysterically, experiencing pleasure, or are totally engaged in an activity you are passionate about.
If you are not experiencing any of the above 8 activities and just starved, here are a few very spicy/hot foods that will help dull your appetite: Red Chili Peppers, habaneros, jalapenos, hot mustard, horseradish, Tabasco sauce and chili garlic sauce. Try experimenting with these foods or combinations of these foods on some celery or raw vegetables before dinner. They are virtually calorie-free, relatively inexpensive, and will dull your appetite. You have to be creative and make some changes to be both skinny and debt free.
